Cat Portrait from your photo

Why cat portraits are different

Dog portraits can lean on expression and pose. Cat portraits live or die on markings: the tabby stripes, the white bib, the one dark paw, the asymmetry around the nose. A generic "cat painting" loses exactly the things that make your cat recognisable, which is why most template art feels wrong to the owner.

Our generator works from your photo, so the fur pattern, the eye colour and the shape of the head are carried into the artwork. The style changes; the cat stays yours.

Getting a good source photo

You do not need a studio shot. The best results come from a photo where the cat fills a decent part of the frame, the face is visible (not turned fully away), and the light is even. Phone photos taken near a window work well. Avoid heavy filters or screenshots — they lose fur detail.
